​Description

The Florida Retail Fuel Transfer Switch Modernization Grant Program provides financial assistance to retail fuel facilities for installing or upgrading transfer switch infrastructure to maintain fuel availability during power outages. Administered by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, the program offers up to $10,000 per facility in fiscally constrained counties and up to $5,000 elsewhere. Eligible applicants must be licensed petroleum facilities and submit documentation of compliance, generator capability, and emergency coordination. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted, prioritizing locations on evacuation routes and those with greater fueling capacity.
